Polka Kölsch Kölsch-style Hybrid Ale 4.4% ABV | Polka was a surly girl, a hybrid ewe with attitude & a tail so long it swayed like she was dancing. Her name was always in our minds for this beer. And Kölsch is hands-down one of Jason's go-tos: moderate-strength with inviting aroma, subtle bitterness & a fresh, light body making it a delicious drink with friends. He chose a yeast imparting hits of cherry & stone fruit then brewed it with German Pilsner malt & Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hops. Pale straw in colour, aromas of light cherry & pear mingle with a whiff of evergreen. Body is light with a touch of malt sweetness balanced over soft bitterness. Remarkably refreshing & supremely session-friendly.
