Aliment Brewing is tucked in at the top of New Zealand's South Island in beautiful Riwaka - a teeny tiny brewery smack dab in the lap of NZ's biggest hop-growing region!
Why the name 'Aliment'? It's a term meaning to sustain & nourish. We'd never claim beer is essential to life, but we think good it can nourish the spirit & lube the wheels of human interaction. There's good value in sitting with friends over a pint & a good chat.
Owners Jason & Monica have food backgrounds - he was a chef for more than two decades, she has a hospo background & had two small Mexican food businesses. In fact, 'Aliment' was Jason's license plate in his culinary school days back in Vermont. It's just a good fit.
Jason makes our beer. He brings heaps of brewing experience & a solid rep to the brew house. He's driven to make good beer.
Monica handles marketing & the tasting room making sure everything's in the right spot & ready to rock.
Crafting good beer that brings people together is what we're about. Building good relationships with our customers, community & environment every day, one brew at a time, is how we roll.
We don't go in for super complicated labels & tap badges. That's just us. We hope you can enjoy the beer without all the fuss.
Thanks for making the journey with us!
