Made with a native NZ brewing yeast captured & cultivated by Froth Tench in Wellington, Waimārama Wilding Ale is not only a special farmhouse ale - all profits from the sale of this one go to The Brook Waimārama Sanctuary in Nelson! Pouring amber, effervescence is lovely & light, & right out of the gate it presents with big pear on the nose followed by a delightful banana note. These carry through to the palate taking on a scrumptious banana bread character without being heavy, over spicy or cloying. Complexity is lovely here yet it’s still an accessible brew & highly drinkable. We’re really pleased with this one & hope you will be, too!.
