HCB1019 isn’t the most lyrical name, but trial hop monikers  - like butterflies - morph from drab to fab eventually. So it is with Dolcita from Yakima Chief in Washington state. And this showy beast will make you forget in quick time it started life sounding like the branch number of a bank. Ripe peach, papaya & spice up front mirrors magically on the palate. Subtle bitterness, soft mouthfeel & a dry finish will tempt you to another sip. And then some.
